"Admirals Landings is a wonderful example of a B&B and as such I have real difficulty in understanding how anyone could write anything but praise regarding their stay there. So why so idyllic; well Joy will (and appears to actually enjoy) attend to your EVERY needs. NOTHING appears to be a problem! The location of this B&B is fabulous, it right on the harbour front with a ferry taking you to Auckland's Business District and shops every 30 mins. Devonport is a most beautiful location with its period houses, so don't think it's a disadvantage to be outside the city centre it is a MAJOR ADVANTAGE, the journey time is less than 20 mins and you have the best of both worlds. The bed and bedding is super comfortable and the shower is brilliant. If you are looking to stay in Auckland then look no further, stay at Admirals Landings you won't regret it."

"This was a lovely little B&B in the quaint town of Devonport. Joy & Howard was wonderful hosts & very welcoming. Joy's knowledge of the area is exceptional. We stayed in the Waterfront room which was very spacious. The only small negative was having to eat breakfast on the balcony or in our room during bad weather which made it feel a bit more like a hotel. Other B&Bs we have stayed at has a communal dining room & a visitor's lounge room. Otherwise, very good."

"I'm so glad I chose to stay here on my wedding night. Our reception was in Devonport as well, so we were able to get ready (even before the normal check in time, thanks to Joy and Howard) here. It's a well-lit, breezy and cosy place, with immaculate bathrooms, and amazing service. The rooms were clean, and we particularly enjoyed the roof windows in the bathrooms and the bedrooms. What really stood out was however, Joy and Howard's service. Joy was quick with her camera, she took photographs of me and my husband getting ready, and she even took pics of us on the night when we came back to the hotel. It's a photo we wouldn't have thought to take, if it wasn't for Joy. So glad she took that picture for us :)"

"This was an excellent ending of our four weeks NZ trip. Joy and Howard are really nice people and took so much care of us that it almost felt like children coming back to their parents over christmas. Unfortunately we did not have the opportunity to visit mount victoria with Joy (which was a complementary offer), since we had such a fun time in Auckland downtown and came back quite late in the evening."

"We spent 3 days at Joy and Howard's guesthouse. Very good location, only 10min ferry to reach Auckland. Joy and Howard are very welcoming. Joy likes sharing about main points to be visited around Auckland. Room and bathroom are very clean and breakfast was fantastic especially home-made scrambled eggs prepared by Howard."
